I create innovative prints and mixed media drawings of houses, barns, doors, windows and nature. My art works use the tools of the artist: line, tone, color, ink, shape. My prints combine hand drawn line, dry point etching, and collagraph textures for tonal values. Each print is hand printed on my etching press.

                  “Great Blue Heron” mixed media,
                            by Sherry Smith Bell
My mixed media works on paper are hand drawn using a combination of art materials, paint, art mediums, prismacolor pencils, and  water soluble oil crayons. I capture moments of time, a tree, a view, a memory. I layer art materials to create texture, depth and movement on the page.
